Where is my data stored?
In a Postgres database tied to your region. World users hit Supabase EU; users from Russia hit a self-hosted Postgres on a VPS to comply with 152-FZ. Module-level data is encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM.
Can I self-host?
Yes. The app is a Next.js monorepo with Prisma + dual-region Postgres. You can run the whole thing on a $5 VPS — there is a deploy script for Contabo + nginx + PM2 in the repo.
Do I need all 70+ modules?
No. Every module is opt-in. Hide what you don’t need from the sidebar; the data stays untouched in case you turn it back on.
Why not just use Notion / Linear / a journal app?
You can. fyouf is for people tired of bouncing between five apps that don’t know about each other — and want one keyboard, one search, one place where their goal, calendar, money, and habits live in the same workspace.
How does pricing work?
Free forever for solo use with the 3 starter modules. Pro ($8/mo) unlocks all 70+ modules, sync, agents, and encrypted backups. Team adds shared spaces and admin tooling.
Is my data really private?
Module data is AES-256-GCM encrypted at rest using a key only your server knows. Nothing leaves your region. We never read your prompts, notes, or files for training or analytics.
What about AI? Do you train on my data?
No. AI is opt-in per module. When you use it, your prompt goes to the chosen provider (OpenAI, OpenRouter, Anthropic) under our key — they don’t see your account identity, and we don’t pipe your data into any training set.
Can I import from Notion / Obsidian / Evernote / ChatGPT?
Yes. Built-in importers cover ChatGPT exports, Claude, Notion, Obsidian, Apple Notes, iCal, Todoist, Things, and 11 bank statements. New importers ship monthly.
Is there a mobile app?
The web app is mobile-friendly (PWA: installable, offline cache). Native iOS + Android are on the Q4 roadmap.
How do I cancel?
One button in Settings → Billing. Your data stays, your subscription ends at the period boundary. Exportable in JSON, Markdown and CSV.
What if you shut down?
You can self-host the same codebase tomorrow. fyouf is fully open source — no lock-in, no vendor risk.
Do you support teams / families?
The Team plan adds shared spaces, team agents, admin & audit log, and priority support. Same modules, same keyboard, one workspace.
